In our first ever YouTube video, wireman Matt (who trains all of our apprentices AND who joined us as an apprentice three years ago) talks us through what it’s like to work at Visualization each and every day.
Before working with us Matt worked at a bank, which is pretty much as far away as you can get from the day to day work at our Maidenhead headquarters.
He explains that working at Visualization is a mixture of fun and hard work, on the one hand things are quite relaxed, but at the same time you’re always busy and always have deadlines. Everybody gets on well but take things seriously at the same time, to work together as a team to get things done.
There’s always a chance to travel to various sites around Europe and work on different and challenging projects, plus there’s always opportunities to develop new skills and progress within the company.
We accept applicants from a range of different backgrounds, but transferable skills are obviously a bonus, we see a lot of electricians, people with experience in panel wiring and data backgrounds, but having the right mindset and attitude is the most important thing. If you have a willingness to learn and progress at Visualization you’re halfway there.
