Audio Visual Trainees Required

Visualization is a fast growing AV resource partner, specialising in rack build and installation, working through its partners to deliver the physical engineering at the heart of audio visual systems. We require Audio Visual Trainees to join our team in Maidenhead. The role will initially be based at the workshop but you will also work at client sites.

This is a full time, permanent role reporting to the Workshop Manager attracting a starting salary of £12,000 - £16,000.

Responsibilities & skills required:

The role consists of wiring equipment racks for AV systems and then the subsequent installation of these racks and other associated products at client sites. The role will include tasks from loading equipment into 19” racks, terminating cables, lacing into the racks and testing. The rack is usually installed according to the requirements of the client along with associated equipment (anything from screens and projectors to satellite speakers). High quality standards are a pivotal part of the services we offer; with in-house training the ideal candidate will be capable of working to produce these requirements.

An understanding of AV termination standards and attention to detail would be preferred along with transferrable skills from an electrical/panel wiring trade.

A person who is a good communicator, flexible, prepared to fit in with the team and has a positive approach to work will enjoy the energy of a growing business which is very much appreciated by its Clients.

An ideal candidate would have the ability to follow instructions and have a keen interest in the hands on element of audio and video.

Working hours are 08:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

The candidate also needs to be flexible with overtime requirements and fulfil the need for extra hours when possible.
