We are looking for a Delivery van driver/Warehouse assistant to join our team!

Currently we are recruiting for an efficient and experienced Delivery Van Driver/ Warehouse Assistant for our busy operations based in Maidenhead. We have 1 full-time vacancy available with an immediate start date. This is a brand-new and exciting role within Visualization as we set up a specialised logistics department. We are keen that any applicants recognise that this is more than just a driving job.

On a day-to-day basis you will undertake the delivery of educational and residential AV equipment across the UK. You will be responsible for packing your own van, making daily vehicle checks to ensure you are operating safely and ensure you always look after your vehicle. During quiet periods you will be expected to support the Logistics Manager in the Warehouse with basic goods in/out tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Delivery Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant, you will need to:
• Follow a pre-planned route to deliver equipment to residential or business addresses
• Provide a ‘white gloves’ service to the client when required
• Safely and securely load and offload your van
• Checking and managing delivery paperwork
• Daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthy
• Verify incoming and outgoing delivery/shipments

Key Attributes:

• Due to insurance purposes applicants must be 21 years plus in age
• Held a Full UK driving licence for at least 2 years, with no more than 3 points or a driving disqualification within the last 10 years
• Experience driving a 3.5 tonne Luton van for at least 12 months in a previous role
• Computer literate
• Be proactive, have a close attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent customer service capabilities
• Good general health to meet the physical demands of the role
• Be comfortable with early morning starts and working alone
• Calm under pressure and able to adhere to UK Domestic Driving rules
• Experience of driving in London is desirable but not required

Salary: £20,000 per annum
